Production is a collaborative process built on listening—both to the music and to you as an artist.

That might mean refining structure, exploring instrumentation, building parts together, or simply helping you hear what’s already working more clearly. Some artists want hands-on direction, others prefer space to experiment. We’ll find the right balance for your process.

When a project calls for additional players, I work out of The Rye Room and can bring in experienced musicians and session players to help bring your songs to life.

What might production include?

• Song development and arrangement

• Instrumentation and sound selection

• Building parts together (keys, guitars, textures, etc.)

• Working from demos or voice memos

• Bringing in additional musicians when needed

• Preparing tracks for recording and mixing

Production can be as minimal or as involved as your project calls for—we’ll shape the process around your goals.
