Yellow Bell Sound wants to help musicians like you turn your musical vision into a professional recording that you love.

How to get started with recording:

1. Let’s chat. Before we get started, let’s make sure we’re a fit. Schedule a free 30min virtual call with Bethany to talk through your ideas for your music, and our ability to make them happen.

2. Consider your options. We work “in the box,” meaning we record direct to the computer and the editing happens within computer software. This gives you options. You can come into our studio space and record with us, using our equipment, and/or bring your own instruments. Or, you can record yourself elsewhere and send us your tracks. If you want to record yourself at home, we can make that work, but let’s talk first about setting everyone up for success with tips for creating the best possible recordings using the equipment you have on hand.

3. Run with it: Once we record your tracks, you have options again. You can take your tracks and edit them on your own, or you can work with us to produce, mix and master them into a song.

Recording these days can seem almost limitless - you don’t need to know how to play every instrument you hear in your head because notes on a keyboard can be translated to a deep library of MIDI instruments that we can make sound authentic. And you don’t need to worry if you aren’t the strongest singer because we can make subtle (or obvious, if that’s your goal) edits to your vocals until we get the best sound possible.
